- A journey to trace the tales of Japan’s heritage for smooth, velvety skin
Miwa Ishihara, a freelance news presenter active in the San-in area, traveled to Iwami no Kuni. While following the tales of Japanese heritage sites, she discovered new attractions of Iwami through “tools to connect with the gods” such as Iwami Kagura and Japanese sake.
After enjoying the Class A gourmet cuisine of “Kamuri” in Ohnan, Miwa Ishihara visited the ranch cafe “Milk and Bean's Mui,” located a one-minute walk from the restaurant. This popular cafe has been featured in many TV programs and magazines, including NHK's popular program “Professional - Work Style.”
The secret of their popularity is their dedication to making dairy products that are as delicious as possible. They produce “Milk from grazing cows” raised on a local cattle ranch without barns, and “IWAMI CRAFTS CHOCOLATE,” a homemade chocolate that is unusual in the Iwami region.
A number of other products are also available, including the famous milk-rich gelato, cream puffs and jam made from milk. Once you try it, you will be fascinated by its rich flavor, and many people become addicted to it.
Miwa visited the cafe shortly after lunch, and for ladies, sweets are an extra treat. She immediately ordered one of the popular ice cream cones and enjoyed it outdoors.
“Oh, it has a rich milk taste and is delicious! The aftertaste is crisp and fresh. It's not bad to eat ice cream outside on a cold winter day.”
There are also many other tempting sweets in the cafe, and you'll want to try more than one. You can also order “Unforgettable tastes from your travels”through the online store when you return home.
